Sonor 14 Bronze Snare Wire - 18 Strands The bronze alloy consists of 93% copper and 7% tin. The 0.6mms strong snare strands feature 1000/1300 N/mm* tensile strength and are still classified as soft due to their elasticity. This allows for a longer decay of the snare vibration. The snare sound has reduced overtones and can be describe as mellow. These snares are ideally suited for orchestral use and for the playing with brushes or rods.
