Premier Academy - 22.5 / 57cm - Fiberglaskessel Premier Academy Series timpani are ideal for session players, schools, teachers and ensembles who require good tone with economy and ease of transport. They provide an excellent basis for learing two important areas of timpani playing, tuning and relative pitch. The tuning handles are fixed making them impossible to loose and the three legs are adjustable for height and tilt to suit all playing positions. The legs also have the added advantage of retracting inside the body of the instrument for compact storage. These instruments have an excellent tone yet have little to service and maintain and the powder coated fittings make them extremely durable. Altogether an excellent introduction to the art of playing timpani.
