Istanbul Agop 30th Anniversary 20 Each Istanbul Agop 30th Anniversary cymbal begins with its unique hand-shaped bell. To some, that may seem like a minor detail. For many, it is. For others, it´s all about those details. In creating this series, our goal was to create instruments that represent and celebrate our own history, as well as the history of the instrument. By adopting this long since forgotten approach, we´re guaranteeing that each cymbal will be a unique musical instrument unto itself, with it´s own timbre, shape, complexity, dynamic and feel. 14 Hi-hats are papery thin, with a very quick decay and a trashy, yet controlled wash. The 22 and 20 rides offer rich and full, yet definitive sticking with a complex dark roar underneath.
